After working on this one off and on for a couple of years, it finally found its rhythm and completion. After painting it, the title came to me as is. It was for me an acknowledgement that God and inspiration are here and now. It's not rare or hard to find, but requires those with eyes to see it (open-hearted and humble). After posting it in my artist group a fellow artist pointed out a poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning which goes like this: "Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God, But only he who sees takes off his shoes; The rest sit round and pluck blackberries.”
